Schedule set for PJHL playoff series between Port Hope Panthers and Napanee Raiders

The Provincial Junior Hockey League Tod Division semifinal playoff series between the Port Hope Panthers and Napanee Raiders will begin Tuesday night.

Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Strathcona Paper Centre in Napanee.

Wednesday night, the Panthers will host Game 2 of the best-of-seven series starting at 8:30 p.m at the Jack Burger Sports Complex in Port Hope.

From there, Game 3 is scheduled for Friday, March 24 in Napanee at 7:30 p.m. with the fourth game back in Port Hope on Sunday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m.

If necessary, the remaining dates are: Game 5 – Wednesday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Napanee, Game 6 – Thursday, March 30 at 8 p.m. in Port Hope and Game 7 – Sunday, April 2 at 1:30 p.m. in Napanee.

The Panthers have announced free admission in Port Hope for all West Northumberland Wild, Northumberland Nighthawks and Northumberland Bulldogs players wearing their jerseys.

Napanee finished atop the PJHL’s Tod Division standings during the regular season with a 35-5-0-1 record. The Panthers (22-17-0-3) were fourth, but had a strong finish to the regular season and are coming off a 4-1 opening round series victory over the Frankford Huskies.
