In Local

Worked continued on December 26, 2022 removing downed trees and repairing power throughout the area.

As people started to come out of their homes after the severe winter storm pounded the area for several days, the damage was evident in several areas including Cobourg’s west end and a tree that toppled in Victoria Park onto the grass of the Cobourg Lawn Bowling Club.

Cleanup will likely takes days, if not weeks, but crews from Lakefront Utilities and Hydro One were working in various areas including Cobourg and Grafton.
