Monarch Metamorphosis Created Along Victoria Beach Fenceline in Cobourg

Local artist Jenny Duda has once again managed to brighten up the fence line along Cobourg beach.

Starting on Friday, August 21, Duda worked as long as she could on the project titled Monarch Metamorphosis.

“It’s about the changes that happen in the Fall.

“All of us have to think about our next step. So I’m kind of comparing what we are all about to start in the Fall. So I wanted to create a piece that has metamorphist from a chrysalis and has to now be open to its freedom.”

As Duda admits, people aren’t quite free yet because of COVID, but hopes it will happen soon.

Duda has done several pieces of art along the fence line that borders Victoria Beach and the boardwalk.

The fence has since the start of summer because of COVID-19.

Duda says she wants to brighten up the area for people.
