Rudd announced on behalf of the Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism, that the grant comes from the Federal government’s Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program.

Rudd stated in her subsequent press release that festivals and celebrations are an inspiration to all.

“I am thrilled that our government recognizes the importance of these events, whch contribute to the economy, help us to celebrate as a family and make our communities and our province such a great place to live,” the MP said.

“I want to congratulate Alderville First Nation on this important investment.”
