Update – Male Arrested for Robbery and Disguise with Intent
The Cobourg Police have charged a male after responding to a report of a robbery in progress at a downtown business.
On Tuesday the 12th of February, 2019, at approximately 8:26 pm, police responded to a business on King Street West after receiving a report of a male robbing a business wearing a face mask, leaving with a small amount of cash stolen from the cash register.
As a result of a subsequent police investigation, 23 year old Jordan CROSS is charged with Robbery, and Disguise with Intent. The accused was held in Cobourg Police custody for a Show Cause Hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.

A business was robbed in downtown Cobourg on Tuesday, February 12, 2019.
Mr. Sub which is located directly across from the Cobourg Police Station was robbed by a suspect around 9 pm. The lone suspect fled the scene but didn’t get far, (a matter of yards) before police arrested the suspect and took him into custody.  A Cobourg Police Special Constable Scenes of Crime Officer was on scene shortly after dusting for fingerprints and taking photos of the scene.
