Breaking News – Cramahe Township Fire Chief Resigns

Today’s Northumberland has confirmed Cramahe Township Fire Chief Brandon Northrup has resigned effective immediately.
Northrup resigned on Friday, January 4, 2019 after meeting with Cramahe Township CAO Craig Brooks.
Northrup was sworn in as Fire Chief for Cramahe Township on March 14, 2011.
Brooks said Acting Fire Chief Tim Burgess will continue in his role until further notice.
Burgess was hired in 2015 and is currently employment is with Ontario Power Generation as Technical Training Instructor with the Wesleyville Fire & Rescue Academy and is both a former member of the Grand Valley and District Fire Services and of the Ministry of Natural Resources Forest Fire Suppression Crew. He is also relied upon heavily for his mechanical aptitude as a former Lineman with Ontario Hydro.
