Cobourg Summer Council Meeting on July 22, 2026 to Begin at 1 p.m.

The Town of Cobourg Legislative Services Division would like to remind residents the Summer Council Meeting on Wednesday, July 22, is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Members of the public may attend the meeting in-person, in Council Chambers at Victoria Hall (55 King Street West), or view the livestream at calendar.cobourg.ca/council.
The following Items have been Extracted for Separate Discussion:
• Report No. COMM-2026-004 – Parks and Recreation Master Plan
• Report No. COMM-2026-005 – Update on the YMCA Recreation Facility Proposal
• Report No. DS-2026-023 – Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment Applications for 660 Kerr Street West
• Report No. DS-2026-026 – Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment for 202 Second Street
• Report No. DS-2026-019 – 296 George Street Zoning By-law Amendment
The agenda also includes three delegations, a recommendation from the Accessibility Advisory Committee, a recommendation from the Parks and Recreation Master Plan
Task Force, and 12 Items on the Consent Agenda.

Delegations and Speakers Due to the anticipated high volume of residents attending this meeting, additional seating space will be opened in the Courtroom on the first floor of Victoria Hall. Priority seating in Council Chambers will be given to all those speaking to an agenda item. All others attending in person will be able to view the livestream in the Courtroom. The Town of Cobourg appreciates your support in ensuring easy access to those speaking at the meeting.
You may register to speak to an item on the agenda in-person or virtually. If you would like to speak to an agenda item electronically via Zoom, please email clerk@cobourg.ca no later than 12 p.m. the business day prior to the meeting and you will be registered as a virtual speaker. To speak in-person you may register in advance through email or register in-person prior to the meeting.
