On January 22,2024, a report of a theft of gas resulted in the return of an overdue rental vehicle.
On January 22, 2024, the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from a business owner in Selwyn Township reporting that a vehicle had pulled into their gas station, the driver filled up with nearly $115 worth of fuel and then left without making any effort to pay.
