Video – Cobourg Fire Department Extinguish Bin Fire at Encampment

Cobourg Fire Department extinguished a bin fire at the encampment located at 390 King Street East on Monday, January 22, 2024.

The fire department were dispatched to a public assistance call at the encampment, but when they pulled in, flames were visible coming from a garbage bin used by the encampment residents.

Security were even unaware of the fire.

Firefighters doused the flames and there is no cause of the fire at this time.
