Boat lift-out taking place over two October weekends

The Town of Cobourg would like to inform residents that the annual Marina boat lift out will take place over two weekends – October 4-5 and October 25-26, 2025.

Please note that the following closures will include pedestrian traffic. To complete these operations in the safest terms possible we must keep guests from the path of heavy equipment. • Saturday, October 4, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Boat hauling

• Wednesday, October 1 to Sunday, October 5: the Esplanade, including the east and west parking lots, will be closed

• Saturday, October 25, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Boat hauling

• Wednesday, October 22 to Sunday, October 26: the Esplanade, including the east and west parking lots, will be closed

Road and parking lot closures for the Lifting and Hauling weekends include:

• Harbour West Basin Parking Lot

• Hibernia Street, south of Third Street

• Third Street, between Hibernia Street and The Esplanade

• Division Street, south of The Esplanade

• The Esplanade

The Town of Cobourg and Cobourg Waterfront Operations staff thank you for your patience and consideration while the boats are moved and stored for the winter season.
