Cobourg Marina Boat Lift-Out and Hauling Operations

Boat lift-out taking place over two October weekends

The Town of Cobourg would like to inform residents that the annual Marina boat lift out will take place over two weekends – October 4-5 and October 25-26, 2025.

Please note that the following closures will include pedestrian traffic. To complete these operations in the safest terms possible we must keep guests from the path of heavy equipment. Every effort will be made to open walkways and roads when safe to do so between preparation and hauling procedures.

Dates for this year’s lift-out and hauling include:

• Saturday, October 4, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Boat hauling

• Wednesday, October 1 to Sunday, October 5: the Esplanade, including the east and west parking lots, will be closed

• Saturday, October 25, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Boat hauling

• Wednesday, October 22 to Sunday, October 26: the Esplanade, including the east and west parking lots, will be closed

Road and parking lot closures for the Lifting and Hauling weekends include:

• Harbour West Basin Parking Lot

• Hibernia Street, south of Third Street

• Third Street, between Hibernia Street and The Esplanade

• Division Street, south of The Esplanade

• The Esplanade

The Town of Cobourg and Cobourg Waterfront Operations staff thank you for your patience and consideration while the boats are moved and stored for the winter season.
