Video – Mobile Home Destroyed by Fire in Hamilton Township

A mobile home was destroyed by fire in Hamilton Township on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

At approximately 11:15 a.m. Hamilton Township Fire Department were called to a structure fire at Sandown Park Estates (7356 Telephone Road).

When fire crews arrived thick black smoke was coming from the trailer with flames coming from the south side.

The occupant of the mobile home had evacuated.

Assistance was requested from Port Hope Fire and Rescue with shuttling water to the fire.

One firefighter was taken to hospital with a minor injury.

The mobile home was destroyed in the fire and at this time there is no cause.
