Video – Photo Gallery – Salmon Run in Full Swing Locally

In Local, Photo Gallery

By the looks of it, the salmon run is in full swing in local waterways around Cobourg and Port Hope.

With the rain and change in weather, the salmon were jumping in Lake Ontario on Thursday, September 4, 2025 to get up the rivers.

Waves of salmon came up waterways locally throughout the day.

Although there were few anglers along the creeks and rivers, that will likely change come the weekend.

It’s always advisable for anglers to check locally the rules and regulations, respect private property and leave the area better than you found it.
