New Manager of Planning & Development for Cramahe Township

The Corporation of Cramahe Township is pleased to affirm the implementation of the Planning and Development department.

We announce the appointment of Matthew Coffey (MCIP, RPP) as the Manager of Planning & Development, effective September 8, 2025.

Matthew (Matt) is a passionate Urban Planner, known for his insightful and dedicated disposition. With a background in rural land use planning, transportation planning, and environmental stewardship, Matt has worked on a diverse range of municipal projects.

Matt holds a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Melbourne (Australia), and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Urban and Regional Planning, from the Toronto Metropolitan University. He is a recognized and registered profession planner, maintaining the mandatory qualifications with both the Ontario Provincial Planning Institute (OPPI) and the Canadian Institute of Planning (CIP).

Originally from Belleville, Matt has a genuine passion for working with small communities in central Ontario. He is excited to support and guide the future growth of our community and eager to make a positive and lasting impact through his new role.

We are also keen to announce Andrew Keogh as the Planning Coordinator. Andrew holds a Masters degree in Architecture and Urbanism, from Carleton University, as well as an undergraduate degree in Science, from Guelph University. He is a longstanding resident of Cramahe Township and is excited to offer his dedication and support of the important work ahead.
