In Police Blotter

A teenager is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Quinte West.

It happened on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, shortly before 4:00 p.m. Officers with the Quinte West Ontario Provincial (OPP) and Hastings-Quinte Paramedics responded to the scene at the intersection of Dundas and Front Streets.

The initial investigation found that a 13-year-old male was operating a ‘hoverboard’ and was struck in the crosswalk as a pick-up truck was turning.
