Video – Lots of Outdoor Activities on Boxing Day in Northumberland County

In Local, Weather

It wasn’t just the Boxing Day sales that brought people out.

A number of people were just happy to be outside enjoying the winter weather in Northumberland County.

Along Gage’s Creek it’s always a beautiful winter setting and a popular place to feed the birds.

A number of anglers were along the Ganaraska River and certainly appeared were dressed warm for the time of year.

On Rice Lake a number of fish hut’s were set up east of Bewdley.

But that wasn’t the only activity as a few people were shoveling off an area of ice for Mother Nature’s skating rink and at least one person was just going for a stroll on the snow covered ice.
