Video – Part of Division Street Closed in Cobourg After Vehicle Strikes Hydro Pole

Part of Division Street was closed for several hours after a vehicle struck a hydro pole on Thursday, July 25, 2024.

Shortly after 4 p.m. a vehicle travelling northbound on Division Street struck a hydro pole, snapping the pole at the base.

One person was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Division Street was closed between James Street and Havelock Street for several hours while crews replaced the hydro pole.

It’s believed hydro wasn’t affected in the area.
