Northumberland OPP Marine Unit (Hopefully) Handing Out Only Positive Tickets

In Local, Police Blotter

The Northumberland OPP Marine Unit hit the waters of Rice Lake on Friday, June 21, 2024 and will hopefully be handing out positive tickets for marine safety.

Marine safety includes having the proper safety equipment such as life jackets, flashlights, and sound signaling devices.

The coupons called “Operation Heat” are for a hot beverage at Circle K or Mac’s Convenience.
