Niagara Falls – A Great Place To Visit On Either Side of the Border

In Local, Travel

For those looking for something to do on Family Day, a visit to the Falls might be a suggestion.

It was a first for myself taking in Niagara Falls from the States side, but well worth the short wait at the border to visit.

First thing if you plan on visiting is bundle up for the weather.

It might be a warm winter, but by the time you get there – it could change.

A short time in the States and it was back to Ontario to see the sites of Clifton Hill.

With the number of arcades along the strip, some may think the bells and whistles may be tacky, but for a visit I found it worth it for the day.

Some of the attractions aren’t open due to the season, but the 175 foot Ferris wheel was one of the attractions that was open.

And frankly there were many, many more that were.

One definite bonus visiting this time of year is there aren’t near as many people as there would be in the summer.

As long as the weather is fine, even in the winter season, visiting Niagara Falls is definitely worth the trip.
