Peterborough County OPP – Assault Over Spilled Milk (Name Released)

One person has been charged with assault after a dispute over spilled milk.

On January 6, 2024, shortly after 6:00pm, members of the Peterborough County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call regarding a dispute between two residents of the same building. The complainant advised that they had been blamed for pouring coffee creamer down the drain which belonged to the accused. The complainant stated that the accused became agitated and at one point attempted to strike them hitting the victim’s hand.

Robert LIVINGSTONE (age 61) of Havelock, ON., was arrested and charged with:

  • Assault

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on February 13, 2024.
