Large Tree Limb Falls on Trailer in Victoria Park Campground

There were no injuries after a large tree limb fell on a trailer in Victoria Park Campground on Monday, June 12, 2023.

Emergency services were dispatched at approximately 9:30 p.m. to the campground for a large tree limb that had broke off from the tree and landed on the roof of the trailer.

The owner of the trailer told Today’s Northumberland he was going to bed and playing Scrabble on his smartphone when the trailer shook from the impact.

The limb damaged the roof of the trailer, but it’s unknown how extensive the damage is at this point.

The couple and their two dogs are from Nova Scotia were unhurt.

They are staying at the campground and visiting the area for a family function.

A company was called in on Monday night to remove the limb from the trailer and assess the status of the tree.
