Punishing Winds Create A Blanket of Ice Along Lake Ontario Shoreline

In Local, Weather

A severe storm with high winds over the last several days left a blanket of ice along the Lake Ontario shoreline.

On Monday, December 26, 2022 remnants of the storm created blankets of ice covering everything in its path along the shoreline including trees and benches.

Along Cobourg’s inner harbour, geese and ducks took refuge from the high winds.
