Royal Air Cadet Squadron of Cobourg Thanks Community for Support

In Charity, Community

The Royal Air Cadet Squadron of Cobourg would like to thank the community for their generous support during our Tagging event recently during the Thanksgiving weekend. Like many programs, it’s been extremely hard for the non-profit to fundraise during the pandemic, and as a group they were happy to be out in the public again.

598 Sabre Squadron is a part of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, which is a Canada-wide program that is Free to join. 598 Sabre offers fun and exciting opportunities that allows youth to participate in Sports and Fitness, Marksmanship, Orienteering, Leadership opportunities, and helps them develop attributes to being a great citizen.

High school students, can earn credits towards your diploma just by participating in programs and activities with 598? And – it’s Free?

During the pandemic, while many programs were shut down, 598 continued to provide area youth with a virtual program designed to be fun and interactive.

For more information, 598 Sabre Squadron is inviting all youth, 12-18 years old that are interested in the Air Cadet program to come check us out on Thursday, October 27th at the Cobourg Lions Community Centre, 157 Elgin St. East, between 7- 8:30pm.
