For the 16th year, the Apple Country Jamboree took over the Keeler Centre in Colborne.

Starting on Wednesday, the Keeler Centre property was filled with campers enjoying the sweet sound of country music

Promoters/hosts for the event were Gary Warner and Linda Grills.

“Five days of nothing but country music from 1 in the afternoon until 11 at night,” said Warner.

Speaking on Saturday afternoon (July 30, 2022), Warner said the weather has been perfect for the annual event.

Campers travel from Windsor to Ottawa to kick back, relax and enjoy the music in the Keeler Centre.

Warner said with the entertainment they have each year, people keep coming back because they love the jamboree and get to see their friends each year.

Along with the great entertainment, from Thursday to Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. they held an “open mic” for people to come onstage and play with the house band
