Fire Destroys Garage in Cold Springs

In Local

A garage was destroyed by fire on Sunday night in Cold Springs.

All three Hamilton Township Fire Stations were dispatched shortly after 11 p.m. for a structure fire on Burnham Street North, at Wallace Jibb Road.

When fire crews arrived the garage was engulfed in flames and had collapsed.

Intense heat from the fire melted siding on the house, but there was no extension of the fire from the garage.

A vehicle, lawnmower and other items were destroyed in the fire that is not considered suspicious at this time.
