Cobourg Police – Lockdown at Cobourg Collegiate Institute and CR Gummow School

At around 11:55 am, police responded to the area of King Street and Cottesmore in response to a call from staff at Cobourg Collegiate Institute (CCI) CCI and C.R. Gummow were locked down while police worked with school staff to locate a missing person. The person was located safe, and there was no danger to the public or the school.

While on scene at CCI, an unrelated medical event occurred. Ambulance and fire services were on scene for this unrelated incident.
