Breaking News – One Person Rushed to Hospital After Being Stabbed in Cobourg

One person was taken to hospital after being stabbed on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

At approximately 11 p.m. Cobourg Police were notified of the incident and soon closed off Havelock Lane between Havelock Street and James Street West, west of Division Street.

A Durham Police Canine Unit was called to the scene to try and track the suspect.

Northumberland OPP were also called to document the area of the incident.

At this time the suspect is still outstanding.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Cobourg Police are asking if anyone has any knowledge of the incident to call Cobourg Police or CrimeStoppers.
