Cobourg Council – CCC Welcomes New Addition

In City Hall

There’s something new at the Cobourg Community Centre, Councillor Emily Chorley announced at council this week – the new Outdoor Adult Fitness Park.

The structure is now set up on the north lawn, Chorley said, and it came in under budget.

“So feel free to give it a try,” she invited.

“Recreational programming continues at the CCC, with in-person seniors fitness class. And the walking track is open daily with no registration required.”

The mass-immunization clinic still has a few December dates left, she added. It will ramp up to a Monday-through-Friday schedule in January.

The new addition astonished Councillor Adam Bureau, who pointed out that council had just approved it last month.

“Outstanding!” he declared.
