Rebound Child and Youth Services Receives Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant

In Local

On Friday, November 19, 2021, Rebound Child and Youth Services (Rebound) invited MPP David Piccini to stop by to hear more about the impact of a six-month, $25,100 Resilient Communities Fund grant that it received earlier this year. The Resilient Communities Fund grant program was created by the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to help non-profit organizations rebuild and recover from the impacts of COVID-19.

“Rebound has helped numerous children, youth and families in our community reach their fullest potential thanks to their supportive and proactive programming,” said MPP David Piccini. “This $25,100 investment from the Government of Ontario to support the development of Rebound’s 2021-2025 Strategic Plan will greatly benefit the team as they navigate goals and objectives of their organization. I look forward to the bright future ahead for Rebound and the positive impact they will have on families across Northumberland in the next 4 years and beyond.”

The OTF grant has been used to fuel Rebound’s strategic planning efforts to guide it through 2021-2025. As Rebound is in a period of growth, mobilizing a strategic plan that will take place over the next five years is instrumental in equipping Rebound’s team to facilitate high-quality, clinical programs and services.

“The Ontario Trillium Foundation is a generous ongoing supporter of Rebound’s programs and services – for which Rebound is truly thankful,” said Carol Beauchamp, Executive Director at Rebound. “With a new strategic plan underway, Rebound is prepared to expand its reach and continue positively impacting the lives of many clients and families across Northumberland County.”
