57th Cobourg Scottish Festival and Highland Games Takes Place in Cobourg

The 57th Cobourg Scottish Festival and Highland Games took place on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Saturday will provide a full days entertainment with the Solo Piping and Drumming, and Heavy Event competitions starting at 8 am.

The Welcoming Ceremonies began at 11.45 am with the Massed Pipe Bands with a special tribute honouring 20th anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001.

There were pipe band competitions in Victoria Park along with the heavy event competition for men and women including the stone throw and caber toss.

At the Victoria Park Bandshell there was demonstrations of Highland Dancing, from various Schools of Highland Dance.
