Filming for “The Hardy Boys” has shut down Walton and Queen Streets in Port Hope until Friday evening.

The popular production starting Rohan Campbell as Frank Hardy, and Alexander Elliot as Joe Hardy takes place in Bridgeport.

On Thursday, three Port Hope Police cruisers were blocking the entrances to the filming area.

Downtown Port Hope is turning into Bridgeport temporarily as a number of emergency vehicles lined the streets of Queen Street and Demon Day banners were hung over Walton Street and at least one float promoting the Demon Queen were along the street.

The street closure takes place until Friday, August 27, at 2 a.m.
