On July 19th, 2021 at approximately 6:42 PM, officers on patrol in the downtown area observed a motor vehicle being operated by a known suspended female driver.
A traffic stop was conducted and the female was placed under arrest. A search after being arrested produced illegal narcotics on her person.
Thirty three year old Jennifer GAILBRAITH of Roseneath is charged with:
Driving while under suspension contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act
Possession of a substance in schedule 1 contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
The motor vehicle was impounded and GAILBRAITH was released from the scene on an Appearance notice and summons to defendant with a future court date.
