Downtown Cobourg is excited to announce the celebration of eight grand openings in Downtown Cobourg.

On Thursday, July 29th at 10:30 am, join us as we gather to celebrate the official grand opening of Prep Food Co. Immediately following, a ribbon-cutting celebration will be held at The Peace Pipe, located at 1 King Street East.

Finally, to close off the celebrations, a grand opening celebration will occur at 27 King Street West for The Grubby Barber Shop.

A week later Thursday August 5th at 10:00 am we will continue the grand opening celebration at The Kingsmen – Barbers on King located at 10 King Street West. Celebrations and ribbon cutting ceremonies will continue, in order, at Mercury Chocolates & Gelateria (53 Albert Street) and Café Happenstance (203 Third Street). We will return to King Street West for the grand openings of both Love & Peace for All (79B King Street West) and Zel Beauty located at 99 King Street West to wrap up the celebrations.

“We are so excited to see so many new entrepreneurs remain resilient during the pandemic and choose Downtown Cobourg as a home to their business. Downtown Cobourg has been persevering throughout the pandemic and as we welcome more businesses, Downtown Cobourg is seeing the highest number of businesses in years,” says
Erika Cotton, Chair of the DBIA Board of management.
