Port Hope Fire Department Called Back to Port Hope Coin Laundry

Port Hope Fire Department were called back to Port Hope Coin Laundry on Thursday around noon for report of smoke.

The superintendent was working inside at the rear of the building when he noticed smoke around the ceiling area. He immediately placed called 9-1-1.

Fire crews arrived extinguished the small fire that may have been smouldering from last nights fire which caused approximately $100,000 damage.

Fire officials still working on cause.
