Port Hope Library’s No Contact Pickup Begins Next Week

Port Hope Public Library’s no contact pickup service will begin Tuesday, June 2, 2020.

This is how you can access our pickup service. There are more details and answers to some FAQs on the Library website.

· Our pickup service will be offered Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm

· It will be offered at the parking lot of the Mary J. Benson Branch only

· There will be NO patron access to the building

· Pickup spots and Waiting spots are marked to maintain safe physical distancing

· The Book Drop will remain open. Items being returned will only be accepted in the Book Drop, not by Library staff providing pickup service.

· This service is only being offered at the 31 Queen Street location but will be available to ALL library card holders and will include items from both branches.

· ALL items must be placed on hold preferably online through www.porthopepubliclibrary.ca. Please wait for your confirmation email stating that your items are ready for pickup.

· For patrons who do not have access to internet/computer, please call 905 885 4712 with your library card at hand, to put up to 10 items on hold. Please wait until you get a phone call confirming that your item(s) are ready before coming to the Library.

If you are not feeling well please stay home.

Please be patient. We will endeavor to fill requests are quickly as possible but please wait for confirmation that your pickup is ready to be collected.
