Cobourg Police – Man Charged with Mischief

A man has been charged after damaging the intercom at an apartment complex.

On the 30th of March, 2020 at approximately 11:05 pm, police attended an apartment complex in the downtown area for a report of an unwanted man damaging the intercom at the entrance to the apartment.

As a result of the police investigation, 35-Year-old Caleb Jones of Cobourg is charged with

mischief under section 430(4),

possession of break in instruments under section 351(1),

and fail to comply with an undertaking under section 145(5) of the Criminal Code.

Jones was held in custody pending a Show Cause Hearing.
