Driver Suffers Minor Injuries After Tractor Trailer Rollover On County Road 28 South of Bewdley

Emergency services were called to a tractor trailer rollover on County Road 28 south of Bewdley in Hamilton Township on Wednesday, February 19, 2019.

Hamilton Township Fire Department, Peterborough County Paramedics and Northumberland OPP responded to the incident at approximately 11:53 a.m. on County Road 28, just north of Vimy Ridge Road in Hamilton Township.

A southbound tractor trailer went across the northbound lane and into the ditch before rolling onto its side.

The cab struck the embankment hard before rolling over.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

The driver received minor injuries and taken to Peterborough Hospital.

The trailer was empty at the time of the collision.
