Weather Depending – Castleton Pond Hockey Tournament Set To Go

The Castleton Pond Hockey Tournament is set to take place on Monday, February 17, 2020.

New this year is a Family Division for any members of a family to take part.

Information is below on the event.

The Novice through Over 18 age divisions may be any 6 players. The Family division must prove they are related.

Weather permitting the annual Castleton Cup Pond Hockey Tournament is set for Monday, Feb 17.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the date will be moved to accommodate conditions.

This is a family event and there will be zero tolerance for alcohol and/or marijuana consumption.

If there is a violation of this rule, the entire team forfeits their remaining games and will be asked to leave the premise.

Now the fun stuff.

New this year…..Family division..

All players on the team must have the same last name or prove you’re related, ie cousin, aunt or uncle. Each team is permitted to have one player that is “adopted”. Example 5 players all have the last name is “Smith”, the adopted player is “Bob Marley” This division has no age limit.

Family is the key to this group. Mom, dad, kids Uncle Buck and a friend from school.
Divisions:
Novice – age 5-9
Atom – age 10-11
Peewee – age 12-13
Bantam – age 14-15
Midget – age 16-18
18 and over

All teams must:

Have Min 6 players

$25.00 per player before starting their 1st game

Each team guaranteed 3 games

Games are 25 mins in length.
