Nighthawks Beat Sweden In Exhibition Hockey at Cobourg Community Centre

The Northumberland Nighthawks Midget AA team hosted the Vänersborgs Hockey Club from Sweden for an exhibition game at the Cobourg Community Centre on Monday, December 30, 2919.

The Sweden team is on their way to buffalo to meet up with Rasmus Dahlin who plays for the Buffalo Sabres and is from their hometown.

The Nighthawks hosted the exhibition game and came away with the win.

Colton McCurdy got the Nighthawks on board with an unassisted goal at 10:49 of the second period.

Sweden tied it up, but at 5:37 of the third period Nighthawks, Caleb Rock scored with an assist by Ryland Upton.
