Breaking News – OPP Cruiser Struck From Behind On Highway 401 At Colborne

A Northumberland OPP officer received minor injuries after his cruiser was struck on Highway 401 on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. the officer was pulling over to an accident scene on Highway 401 in the Colborne area when a vehicle behind lost control and slammed into the back of the cruiser.

Road conditions at the time were ice covered in areas. There were no charges.

The officer received minor injuries.  The other driver was not injured
