Road Builders Association Hand Out Presentations In Cobourg

The Northumberland, City of Kawartha Lakes, County of Peterborough and Bancroft Road Builders Association present a cheque for $2,500 to Fundraising coordinator at Five Counties Children’s Centre, Lois Tuffin recently at the Mill Restaurant and Pub in Cobourg.
The money was raised from a Trade Show held in Baltimore in October.

The photo of the man on the left in a plaid shirt is Les Holzmann who recently retired from Northumberland County after 29 years and was a Construction Maintenance Supervisor.
Presenting him the award is Association of Ontario Road Supervisors Association President, John Cane (right).
The plaque reads, “On the occasion of your retirement this plaque is presented to Les Holzmann on behalf of the Northumberland Road Builders Association and all its members in appreciation for 29 years of outstanding and dedicated service in the field of public works.”

Association of Ontario Road Supervisors Association President, John Cane also presented a Long Term Service Award to Paul Hefferman. Hefferman was Manager of Public Works and Infrastructure for Hamilton Township for 24 years.
The certificate reads, “Association of Ontario Road Supervisors Award for Long Service in recognition of over 24 years in the Supervision of Road Maintenance and Construction.”

Assistant Manager of Roads and Urban Services for Trent Hills, Kevin Toyne accepts a framed picture of Jeff Nielsen from Trent Hills who was unable to be at the presentation.
Nielsen won the Championship trophy for winning this year’s Provincial Truck Rodeo.
