Northumberland OPP – Hamilton Township Man Charged with Damaging Property (Name Released)

The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual in connection with a mischief investigation.

On August 11, 2025, officers responded to a complaint regarding damage to residential property on Dale Road.

Following an investigation, police sought a person in connection and on August 21, 2025, made an arrest.
Steven BYERS (48) from the Township of Hamilton, has been charged with:

The accused is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in October.
