Coldwell Banker RMR Real Estate Brokerage Holds BBQ for Breast Cancer Research

Coldwell Banker RMR Real Estate, Brokerage held a BBQ lunch at their offices on Division Street in Cobourg on Friday, October 25, 2019.

The event was to bring awareness of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The national event was called “Dress for the Cause” on Friday, Coldwell Banker RMR Real Estate, Brokerage joined other organizations across the nation, to help support life-saving for breast cancer research.

Their goal for the day was $300 and with the generous support of their team and Fisher’s Foodland – Cobourg they raised $1200.

1 in 8 women is likely to develop breast cancer in her lifetime.
26,300 women will be diagnosed this year or about 72 women every day
Nearly 5,000 women will die this year from breast cancer.
An estimated 230 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year and 55 men will die from it.
