Cobourg Police – Drug and Weapon Arrest

On Saturday October 5th 2019 Police observed a 33 year old female, Alisha KINCAID, walking in the downtown area.

The officers were aware that KINCAID was currently bound by a recognizance of bail with a curfew.

Officers arrested KINCAID for breaching her curfew, and a search on arrest located a small quantity of suspected fentanyl and a knife.

KINCAID was held for a bail hearing, charged with:
• Breach of Recognizance x2 – Contrary to Section 145(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada

• Possession of a Controlled Substance – Contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

• Carry Concealed Weapon – Contrary to Section 90 of the Criminal Code of Canada
