Sea of Red As Walk A Mile In Her Shoes Takes Place Along King Street In Cobourg

It was a sea of red shoes filling King Street in Cobourg as The 12th Annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes took place on Saturday, September 28, 2019.

The walked took place starting at the Cobourg Public Library and was led down to the annual Harvest Festival by the Cobourg Legion Pipes and Drums.

Approximately 150 people took part including all police chief’s from the area, mayors from Cobourg, Port Hope and Hamilton Township, members of the Cobourg Cougars, Port Hope Panthers and Northumberland Nighthawks.

This years goal was $35,000 and the numbers will be tallied by Monday.
