Durham Police – 86-Year-Old Charged With Two Counts of Sexual Assault

An 86-year-old male from Ajax was arrested after allegations of sexual assault against two female victims in Ajax.

On Friday, May 24, 2019, at approximately 6:20 p.m., members of West Division responded to the area of Kingston Road and Westney Road in Ajax for reports of two separate incidents of stranger sexual assault. The suspect approached the females near the bus stop and inappropriately touched them in separate incidents. Police responded and arrested the male.

Tawfek GAD, age 86 of Thorp Crescent in Ajax, is charged with Sexual Assault x2 and Assault x2. He was held for a bail hearing.
