Two People Sent To Hospital Following Collision In Downtown Cobourg

Two people were taken to hospital following a collision in Cobourg on Sunday, May 26, 2019.

At approximately 1:27 p.m. emergency services responded to the intersection of King Street West and Spring Street for a three vehicle collision.

A SUV was travelling westbound on King Street and a van was travelling southbound on Spring Street when the collision occurred in the intersection.

When the driver of the motorcycle saw the collision and SUV heading towards him he jumped off his motorcycle.

The SUV landed on its side and Cobourg Fire Department extricated the driver.

Both the driver of the SUV and van were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
