OPP – Male and Female Facing Numerous Charges

$100,000 In Stolen Property Recovered
(DOURO-DUMMER TOWNSHIP, ON) – An investigation led by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit’s (CSCU) from Peterborough County and Central Hastings resulted in the execution of two search warrants on May 21, 2019 and May 23, 2019.

The warrants were executed at a residence on Fifth Line Road North in Douro-Dummer Township. Officers recovered stolen machinery and lawn equipment worth an estimated $100,000. As a result, two persons have been charged.

Trude HILDERBRANDT (age 54) of Douro-Dummer Township, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000-five counts

• Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition- two counts

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on June 26, 2019 and in Bellville on June 27, 2019.

Anne-Marie HILDERBRANDT (age 56) of Douro-Dummer Township, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000-five counts

• Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition- two counts

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on June 26, 2019 and in Bellville on June 27, 2019.

The investigation is ongoing.
