(SELWYN TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were requested to attend Highway 28 at Young’s Point Road this morning at approximately 11:30am. The complainant reported that his southbound vehicle had just been shot several times by a paintball gun and the suspects were in a vehicle travelling northbound.
Shortly after receiving the initial complaint, the suspect vehicle was stopped on Highway 28 in North Kawartha Township. The male driver and two male passengers were arrested and charged.
Miguel OLSZEWSKI (age 21) of Bancroft, Ontario has been charged with the following offences:
- Mischief under $5000
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of a weapon for a dang erous purpose
- Possession of a schedule I controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking – three counts
This accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on May 15, 2019.
Justin SLEEPER (age 26) of Bancroft, Ontario has been charged with the following offences:
- Mischief under $5000
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Possession of a schedule I controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking – 3 counts
A 15 year old male from Bancroft, Ontario has been charged with the following offences:
- M ischief under $5000
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Possession of a schedule I controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking – 3 counts
This accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on May 13, 2019.
