Cobourg Police – Two Suspects Arrested for Break and Enter

The Cobourg Police Service has arrested two males for break and enter. On Friday the 1st of March, 2019, at approximately 9:30am, Officers received information regarding a possible break and enter in progress involving a construction trailer located in the downtown core. Officers attended, located two males inside premise and subsequently placed both parties under arrest.
As a result of Police investigation 45 year old Michael COLE of Cobourg and 34 year old Charles BUTLER of Cobourg were arrested and charged with break and enter under the Criminal Code. The accused parties were subsequently held in the custody of the Cobourg Police Service, scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice for a bail hearing on the 2nd day of March 2019.
