Northumberland OPP – Golf Equipment Stolen from Port Hope Residence

(PORT HOPE, ON) – On Monday February 11, 2019 members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence on the 10th Line in the Municipality of Port Hope.

The owners of the residence returned home at approximately 4:30 pm after being away on vacation, and noticed several items missing from the detached garage. Items reported missing includes the following:

· Unique embroidered black Arizona Coyotes golf bag
· Ping G400 driver golf club
· Ping G400 5 wood golf club
· Set of Callaway Razr golf irons
· Marine gas tank
· STIHL MS390 orange and white chainsaw, serial # 266970342
· STIHL MM55 orange and white rototiller, serial # 505305447

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigation and would ask that anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call the Peterborough/Northumberland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 and not have to appear in court.
